Water Softener:

We design the economical and process efficient softeners in order to reduce the total hardness of the water and to achive water quality as per the customer's requirements.

In order to remove/reduce the hardness of the water, softening process is used. Softening is basically ion exchange process which is widely used now days in all types of industries.

To soften the water, Pre Treated hard water passes through a bed of the exchange resin. Negatively - charged resins absorb and bind metal ions, which are positively charged. The resins initially contain univalent hydrogen, sodium ions, which exchange with divalent calcium and magnesium ions in the water.

As the water passes through the resin column, the hardness ions replace the hydrogen, sodium or potassium ions which are released into the water. The harder the water, the more hydrogen, sodium ions are released from the resin into the water and at last reducing the overall hardness.
